HUMBLE, Texas (November 18, 2025) – This winter, Bayou City ER & Hospital is set to open its doors, bringing revolutionized healthcare to the community. Located at 19211 McKay Drive, the new state-of-the-art medical facility will provide comprehensive emergency, inpatient, medical detox, behavioral health and outpatient services and will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays.
Bayou City ER & Hospital is being launched in partnership with Nutex Health, Inc., and was founded by board-certified emergency physicians with a shared vision of delivering an exceptional, patient-focused care experience.

Unlike traditional hospitals, Bayou City ER & Hospital follows a modern micro-hospital model that emphasizes accessibility, efficiency, and concierge-level care. Patients can expect minimal wait times, a welcoming environment, and ample one-on-one time with physicians for a thorough evaluation of their conditions, concerns, and questions. The hospital will provide emergency care, inpatient stays, medical detox, behavioral health support, diagnostic imaging, including CT, X-ray, and ultrasound, and clinical laboratory testing, all on-site and available for both adult and pediatric patients.
The opening of Bayou City ER & Hospital marks a major milestone in the northeast Houston area’s healthcare landscape and demonstrates a strong commitment to innovation, accessibility, and patient-centered care.
The facility is expected to open by the end of 2025.
